Dear Mr. Lindquist,
Childs Consulting prepared and administered a "technology replacement and upgrade" RFP for the Mackinaw Public Schools following a successful local bonding election for this purpose. We continued to advise the Superintendent and the Board on the evaluation of bids received and guided the award process and developed and recommended the contracts implementing the project. The Mackinaw K-12 schools are housed in a single building. The student enrollment is ca. 205.
Information Systems Intelligence, LLC (ISI) of Grand Rapids was the successful contractor for the implementation of a "latest" technology high performance wireless network, new fileserver system, and replacement of 25 high school lab computers with the addition of notebook computers for all teaching staff and a 20 station notebook mobile cart for use through out the building.
ISI personnel have performed the contract in accord with its terms and conditions, have repeatedly gone beyond the "letter" of the contract to meet short implementation time lines, and worked very cooperatively with the local district, CCA, and the COPESD which had most of the software implementation responsibility.
All fiscal documents have been prepared and submitted in a timely manner and in compliance with AIA application for payment requirements.
CCA would continue to seek responses from ISI to all future RFPs that it prepares within there extensive scope of services. As president of CCA, I personally believe that ISI will offer high quality services and products to K-12 schools on a competitive basis.
Sincerely,
John W. Childs, PhD, President
