Once the proper IP infrastructure is in place, advanced voice and video network applications can be supported at any layer of the ISI Stack above the IP infrastructure layer. These devices can include desk phones, soft phones, PDAs, wireless phones, web cameras, and surveillance cameras.
Voice / Video Interfaces - Connections to the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) may be interfaced with the ISI Stack to provide traditional dial-tone services via RJ-11 or PRI interfaces. In addition, virtual interfaces to Internet based VoIP providers or other branch offices may also be used to drastically reduce ongoing local and long distance charges to the organization. Video interfaces to traditional cameras may also be used to access legacy video systems. ISI recommends, resells, and installs voice devices manufactured by Cisco Systems, Inc.
Voice Devices - At this layer of the stack devices and applications that utilize voice services may be used to leverage the voice interfaces within the network to access dial tone and video services. These devices can include desk phones, soft phones, PDAs, wireless phones, web cameras, and surveillance cameras. ISI recommends, resells, and install voices devices manufactured by Cisco Systems, Inc.
Video Devices - At this layer video devices are leveraged to supplement voice services for advanced video conferencing or real-time surveillance. ISI recommends, resells, and install video devices manufactured by Cisco Systems, Inc.
