Proper certified cabling is critical for the proper transmission of Layer 1 signaling between components within the system. This cabling infrastructure utilizes many different media types, but typically consists of Cat5e / Cat6 or SX/LX fiber strands.

ISI is able to provide small-scale cabling (less than ten drops) services directly, thereby minimizing hassle and the necessity of interfacing with multiple vendors. ISI contracts with structured cabling mechanical contractors for larger jobs when appropriate and locally recommends Feyen Zylstra.
