Vision Technologies
Vision Technologies specializes in digital video surveillance
solutions for clients located throughout the Midwest. At
the end of 2005 Vision Technology realized they had grown
out of their old facility and began to search for a new
home. After finding loft space in the 100 Grandville building,
Vision began the process of selecting a vendor to upgrade
their phone and data system as well.
Vision Technologies contacted ISI for a proposal. ISI
put together a complete solution that would handle all
of their needs, plus provide room to grow at the 300% annual
rate projected for the coming years.
At the core of the system was a Cisco integrated network
that provided a complete voice and data solution. Utilizing
a Cisco 2811 router, a Catalyst 500 switch, and 7900 series
phones, ISI was able to deliver the core infrastructure
required to connect people and processes.
At the application level, ISI put together a complete
server solution which consisted of Microsoft Windows Sever
2003, Exchange Server 2003, and SharePoint Team Services.
ISI also installed Microsoft CRM 3.0 to assist Vision in
the tracking of office-related activities. As an added
benefit, the CRM 3.0 solution and the Cisco solution work
together seamlessly.
According to Chuck Booth, the operations manager “We’ve
really been able to take our business to the next level
with some of this technology. Having people scattered throughout
the state sometimes makes it tough to get information where
it needs to be at the right time. Ryan and the team at
ISI have done a great job at helping us use the right technology
to help our business.”
