Ryan Leestma is the President and founder of ISI and is responsible for supplementing and assisting with engineering, sales, and back-office activities. Ryan is also the most certified individual on-staff, and has over 13 years of consulting and engineering experience. To date Ryan has designed and overseen the implementation of over 1,000 solutions.
At age 15, Ryan started his first IT company under the name Compufix using wages earned working at his uncle's chicken farm. After purchasing advertising space in the local paper Ryan received a fair amount of media attention which produced service requests from all over Northwest Indiana. Unfortunately, because he was not old enough to drive his mother was forced to drive him to and from client sites. Over the next three years the business grew substantially, eventually grossing over $50,000 in service revenue while working only after school hours. It was during this time that Ryan determined that in order to grow, his time was best spent learning to speak the language of his clients, the language of business.
To accomplish this, Ryan pursued and received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Covenant College. Located on the top of Lookout Mountain, GA, Covenant College is a small, Presbyterian liberal arts college that concentrates teaches a Christ-centric worldview. Covenant's business students have consistently scored on par with Stanford, Yale, and Harvard on standardized MBA entrance exams.
Almost immediately after graduating from Covenant College, Ryan founded ISI in the spring of 2001. Currently housed at it’s permanent facility located at 942 52nd Street, ISI now employs 10 people, is completely debt-free, and has posted year over year growth that easily places it in the top 500 fastest growing VARs in the country.
Ryan's past-time activities include wakeboarding, boating, sailing, and running.
Ryan is happily married with two children (Alayna and Ian) and lives in Caledonia.
